GP093-THE GAME OF THRONES

“The Game of Thrones” is a scientific session with a frill of Glamour. It aims to deliver extremely useful carry home messages on different topics of day to day importance which are very commonly encountered by comprehensive Ophthalmologists. So far we have done 5 programs at various state conferences like Maharashtra and Bihar as well as a successful stint at AIOC Coimbatore. All the programs were a huge hit with the audience since this is a very interactive session and more so because it gives useful tips in all sub specialties ranging from Cataract, Glaucoma, Refractive procedures, Uvea, Retina to Oculoplasty.

The audience termed as citizens express their opinions about a clinical scenario using voting pads; the result of which is hidden from the view. The faculty termed as Royalty interact with each other and deliver a consensus sermon, then the citizens vote again. Both the voting patterns are displayed. It is very interesting to note how the sermons of the Royalty change the audience perspectives and enrich their management choices.

This session truly represents the “Learn through Fun and Frolic” concept.
