Expanding Horizons to Holistic Management of LowerLid Bag Thereby Effacing the Lid Cheek Junction

The human face is composed of many oculofacial aesthetic units of which lower eyelid(LEL) unit is mostfundamental as it blends with the midface. Attention to the aging periorbital area specially the LEL hasproduced an increased understanding of the fundamental changes that occur in this vital area. But failure todevelop a template for rejuvenation of the LEL detracts from pan-oculofacial rejuvenation. This course aimsto present step by step video illustrations of available options for holistic management of LEL bags andeffacement of the lid-cheek junction while minimizing the sequelae and complications. There will be a show-case of diversity in techniques, tailored to the individual’s anatomical morphology, helping the participants tothink beyond and adapt different skills, perpetuated by the fact that there is a myriad of principled ways ofachieving an aesthetic solution for lower lid bags. The speakers are Oculoplasty fellowship preceptors withyears of teaching experience.
