This is an intermediate level instruction course, which will focus on conjunctivitis as a “pink eye” a blanketterm that includes a diverse group of disorders. These disorders, in their acute as well as chronic forms, canbe a source of relatively extensive discomfort to the patient, which can negatively influence economical andpsychological part of their life too. This interactive session is targeted for comprehensive ophthalmologistand also as a refresher for cornea specialist. This course will include all types of allergic conjunctivitis withspecial attention to Vernal Keratoconjunctivitis. It will also cover adenoviral and microsporidialkeratoconjunctivitis which is the emerging pathogen at present. The rare and non responding type ofconjunctivitis will be discussed through case based approach to make it easy to understand and at the endthere will be a potpourri of interesting cases which will help in decision making.
