INTRODUCTION: Congenital ptosis is a tricky situation for a general ophthalmologist because of its complex-
ity in proper evaluation and in taking proper surgical decision.
OBJECTIVE: The proposed instruction course aims to deal with the development of clinical acumen regarding
a patient with congenital ptosos. It will be a video based course with emphasis on correct surgical approach
– options and predictive value of different surgical procedures on management of ptosis. A by heart knowl-
edge of surgical anatomy and methodology regarding the evaluation will also be highlight of the course.
PURPOSE: At the conclusion of the course the attendee will be able to carry out an appropriate evaluation
and take decision regarding the surgical approach of a case of congenital ptosis
