Ocular trauma is known cause of monocular blindness.

intra ocular foreign body has poor prognosis,

but to have an asymptomatic period over for 23 years long is unusual,

so we wish to report a retained intra-lenticular foreign body for 23 years presenting without cataract and foreign bodies with good visual outcome.

We have operated and post operative vision is 6/6.
