A 35 year old male patient presented with redness and pain left eye with swelling around left lower lid region. He gives history of sudden fall by the roadside 30 days back. He received initial treatment in the nearby primary health centre for some days and then sent to first refferal unit and from there he was reffered to our institution after almost a month. Incision and drainage of orbital abscess was done but due to lack of improvement in symptoms CT scan orbit was advised. CT scan revealed an elongated tube like foreign body in the inferior aspect of left orbit extending into nasal cavity with small orbital hematoma .On surgical exploration 3 pieces of wooden twigs were retrieved from orbital floor. The need for clinical suspicion, proper history, diagnostic modalities and management of intraorbital foreign body is discussed here.
