Aim:To present fundus autofluorescence (FAF) and OCT angiography (OCTA) findings in serpiginous choroiditis (SC) and tubercular multifocal serpiginoid choroiditis (TB MSC).

Method: Four eyes of 2 patients were studied. Case 1 had bilateral macular SC with negative TST, normal HRCT thorax, and positive p-ANCA. Case 2 had bilateral MSC with positive TST and healed TB infection on HRCT thorax. Pre-treatment fluorescein angiography with FAF at follow up visits were done. Post-treatment FAF findings were compared with OCTA at 1-year.

Result:Lesions showed similar stages of evolution on FAF. At 1 year, SC lesions showed stippled autofluorescence while they were hypofluorescent in TB MSC. OCTA at 1 year showed more uniformly reperfused choriocapillaris in SC while TB MSC showed islands of reperfusion in respective areas of healed lesions.

Conclusion: FAF is useful in monitoring disease activity in SC and MSC. OCTA provides anatomic evaluation of choriocapillaris in these 2 distinct entities.
