Introduction -Multiple myeloma is a malignancy of terminally differentiated plasma cells . Ocular manifestations may occur due to associated hyperviscosity and vasculitis; extramedullary deposition of malignant plasma cells in the orbit or as a result of insufficient chemotherapy. So this study aims at documentation of ophthalmic features found in diagnosed cases of multiple myeloma.Materials and method-This is a cross sectional non interventional study among 100 diagnosed cases (=200 eyes) of multiple myeloma from February 2016 to August 2017. Evaluation of visual acuity followed by anterior segment evaluation, fundus evaluation, applanation tonometry, gonioscopy were done.5%had bilateral eyelid ecchymoses at the time of study. Ptosis with restricted ocular movement was foundin 1%. Raised intraocular pressure was documented in 11.1% had bilateral central vein occlusion. 10 patients had retinopathy. So it is necessary to look for the ophthalmic features in multiple myeloma.
