Juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) is a heterogeneous group of disorders with varied systemic and ocular features among different types, which can be a diagnostic challenge. Chronic uveitis with insidious onset is the most common ocular presentation. This case highlights enthesitis-related arthritis presenting as severe intermediate uveitis that mimicked endophthalmitis. The importance of history and appropriate work up in JIA is emphasized.
