Central serous chorioretinopathy (CSCR) is an incompletely understood multifactorial disease of middle aged characterized by the collection of fluid between the retinal pigment epithelium and the neurosensory retina. CSCR is seen frequently in most retina practices, classically in young. Electrical burns are an important etiology in dealing with patients suffering from burns. Among the serious injuries, eye injuries stand out, since they are widely disabling. Although rare, lesions of the posterior segment of the eye are associated with higher incidence of major sequelae, and thus deserve special attention. Here we report the case of a patient who suffered high-voltage electrical shock and presented with unilateral exudative foveal detachment which resolved with systemic and topical medications with improved visual acuity of 6/9 in 6 months follow up. Conclusion:This highlights the rarity of the etiology of CSCR and the need for fundus evaluation in electrical burns.
