We report a case of post traumatic righthomonymous hemianopia. A 28 year old male presented with loss of left sided vision in both eyes for 10 months following head injury(RTA) 1 year back. There’s h/o of loss of smell and taste. On examining, visual acuity was 6/6 both eyes. External examination was normal. There were no signs of neurological deficit systemically. Confrontation showed loss of REnasal and LEtemporal field. Automated perimetry(AP) confirmed the finding. MRI brain showed right frontal lobe gliosis with no other abnormality. AP done just after head injury was normal.
Conclusion–Neurological deficit can present as late as upto 1 year. Visual fields are mandatory along with MRI as MRI alone can be inconclusive
