PURPOSE
To determine the pathological activity in peripheral retina with regards to management of Posterior Uveitis.
MATERIAL AND METHOD
1. Total of 21 cases with noninfectious Posterior Uveitis. were inspected and each patient underwent standard clinical examination, followed by Digital Retinal Imaging and Fluoresciene Angiography
2. Followup was done for 3years and Treatment was modified as per disease activity and pathological investigations
RESULTS
• Management was altered in 30% cases from primary treatment after retinal imaging and FA. This happened as disease activity was observed in retinal periphery on digital imaging .
• Visual improvement alongwith healing of lesions was observed after management modification.
CONCLUSION
As compared to Standard clinical examination , Digital retinal imaging fairs better in helping to alter management/treatment of Posterior Uveitis.
