Background: Serpiginous choroiditis/ GHPC is a very rare disease entity which is probably secondary to immune mediated vasculitis. Other causes suggested are bacterial infections, TB, herpes. There is no consensus on treatment of this condition due to its rarity. Patients with this condition may be PPD positive and fundus picture resembles TB choroiditis. We present a case of a young male with serpiginous choroiditis who was strongly positive for PPD, treated with steroids alone. Conclusion: Serpiginous choroiditis patients may be PPD positive with all other tests negative for TB. They may not have TB contacts. Such patients can be successfully treated with oral steroids alone.
