A 6 y old girl presented with gradual forward bulging of right eyeball following a trivial trauma with umbrella stick. It increased slightly on coughing and had associated redness. On examination, proptosis with bruit was observed. On slit lamp examination dilated and tortuous episcleral and retinal vessels were noted.
B scan USG showed a dilated and tortuous Superior Ophthalmic Vein. MR Angiography confirmed the presence of direct type CCF.
Patient was immediately referred to higher neurointerventional centre for further management.
CCF itself is a rare entity and our case of CCF following a trivial trauma is yet unfamiliar in the present literature.
