PURPOSE: To determine various ocular findings in childhood leukaemia and lymphoma.
METHOD: The study included 26 patients; less than 18 years diagnosed with acute leukaemia and lymphoma, for a period of 8 months.
RESULTS: Out of 26 patients,19 were diagnosed with leukaemia and 7 with lymphoma. Among the ocular lesions Retinal findings (54.54%) were commonest followed by adnexal (36.36%) and anterior segment (18.18%) findings. During follow up there was death of 3 patients with ocular manifestations i.e. mortality rate being 11.5%.
CONCLUSION: Due to high prevalence of asymptomatic ocular lesions, ocular screening should be included as a part of evaluation.
