Study was done to evaluate short term surgical outcome of eyes with neovascular glaucoma(NVG) and adjuvant intravitreal bevacizumab(IVB) & panretinal photocoagulation(PRP).17eyes were included who received preop IVB with adjuvant PRP & subsequent trabeculectomy with MMC or Ahmed glaucoma valve implantation(AVI).The causes of NVG were PDR(9),CRVO(6),uveitis(1) and RD(1).Trabeculectomy with MMC was performed in 15 eyes and AVI in 3 eyes.Reduction of IOP was significant from preop 40.11+/- 8.84 to postop 16.7+/-5.81mmHg.Mean number of anti-glaucoma medications reduced from 2.94+/-0.24 to 0.82+/-1.13 postop.Postop complications included transient hyphema(11),iris incarceration of tube(1) & transient choroidal detachment(1).IVB was not required postop.Complete success was seen in 9eyes,qualified in 7 & failure in 1.To conclude NVG when treated aggressively with surgery & adjuvant IVB & PRP,gives good results with few complications in short term
