Graft retraction occurred in 3(6%) out of 50 eyes for group 1 versus eyes (8%) in group 2. Granuloma occurred in 1(2%) eyes out of 50 in group 1and 3(6%) in group 2. At the 1 week visit the overall patient satisfaction score was statistically significantly higher for group 1 .Conclusion: Pterygium excision with conjunctival autograft without suture is a very simple, easy, economical, less time consuming procedure.
