Total 47 subjects fulfilling inclusion criteria were recruited in the study after obtaining written informed consent. Subjects were assessed for postoperative UCVA, residual refractive astigmatism and Toric IOL stability.
After surgery there was significant improvement in visual acuity from preoperative 1.10 to 0.35LogMAR (p<0.0001) There was significant reduction in preoperative astigmatism from preoperative 2.30 Diopter to postoperative 0.74 Diopter (p<0.00). 3 Types of Toric IOLs were used in study, of that “c” loop haptic ( 77.21%) ,plate haptic (12.65%) and modified “L” loop haptic (10.12%). 16.4% of the “C” loop haptic and 40%of plate haptic Toric IOL rotated by >15 degrees. 100% of the Modified “L” loop haptic IOLs (mean rotation1.12 degree ±1.35SD) were within 15 degree of planned axis.
