Schwannoma (Neurilemmoma) is a benign tumour of the myelin sheath of the peripheral nerve arising from the peripheral nerve from Schwann cells that form the neural sheath. It is a slow growing encapsulated mass that seldom affects ocular tissues. It is a slow growing encapsulated tumour that seldom affects ocular tissues. It has been reported in relation to the orbit, and less frequently with the uveal tract, conjunctiva, eyelid. We report a case of a 48 year old female who presented to our hospital with left eye inferotemporal orbital mass with superonasal globe dystopia. The mass was surgically removed by excision biopsy. The histopathology examination showed Schwannoma.
