Objectives To study satisfaction and its relation with educational status in outpatients in Municipal Hospital Methods A Cross -sectional study was carried out from March till May 2018. Patients visiting Ophthalmology OPD willing for interview, age >18 year were included. Patients who had undergone surgery in last 3 months were excluded. Demographic data, number of visits and maximum educational qualification of the patients were noted and patients were asked to rate their satisfaction on a scale of 0 to 10. Patients were further classified into Group A (>/=10th pass) and Group B (<10th pass) Results Total of 350 patients were included( Male=129, Female=221).Mean satisfaction score was 8.94 with sd=1.3. There was no significant difference (p>.0.05) in satisfaction scores between Group A (mean=9.4,sd=1.07)and Group B (mean=8.38,sd=1.38) Conclusions Patients coming to Municipal Hospitals have a high index of satisfaction and educational status does not influence patient satisfaction.
