Accurate IOP measurement is mainstay in Glaucoma management as modifiable risk factor. CCT effects also IOP readings. Contact and Noncontact Tonometers are basic two types IOP methods.Aims and Objectives-To measure the accuracy of IOP by Non Contact tonometer compared with Goldman tonometer &To analyse the effect of CCT on IOP measurement Crossectional Observational comparative study for 1 year. 100 patients more than 50 yrs of age.Material and method-NCT was done first .CCT was measured with OCT. Pressure corneal Index ( PCI) was calculated IOP/CCT3 .Results-High IOP between 15-18 mmHg by Non contact tonometer with p value=0.01.Patients with high PC index and normal IOP & normal PCI and High IOP need evaluation Conclusion- NCT gives comparable measurements with GAT in normal range of IOP.At High IOP, NCT readings to be reevaluated Thick corneas may overestimate &Thin corneas may underestimate IOP .NCT is good for Screening but IOP variables need further reevaluation.
