Obtaining widefield fundus images is a costly affair. Few fundus cameras are capable of giving widefield view of fundus, but they are very expensive. Regular fundus cameras don’t provide widefield view.
We can obtain widefield fundus images with the help of our smartphone and a 20D lens.
In this paper, i explain the above in two headings:
1. Obtaining a fundus image with smart phone and 20D lens.
2. Creating a montage with the multiple images in the software.
with some practice, everybody can get wonderful widefield fundus images.
