Purpose of the study is to evaluate the insertion of small aperture corneal inlay in malpositioned cases.10 cases were included in this single masked study. Kamra small aperture corneal inlay was inserted by creating an intrastromal pocket with a femtosecond laser and subsequently inserting the device into the pocket. The target center of inlay was the purkinje reflex or halfway between the reflex and the pupil center. Preoperated double pass imaging was used to measure the purkinje v/s pupil location. This measurement helped the surgeon accurately choose the location for insertion of inlay as well as to assess the centration of the inlay postoperatively. Inlay repositioning was performed after initial implantation secondary to sub optimum refractive results.Post operatively double pass imaging analysis showed the inlay was properly settled much closer to the purkinje reflex. The UNVA improved to 20/20.Kamra corneal inlay has been accepted worldwide for the treatment of presbyopia.
