A prospective analysis of 57 patients reporting to our uvea clinic in a tertiary care centre diagnosed with intermediate uveitis (12.2%), posterior uveitis (54.38%), panuveitis (12.2%), neuroretinitis (14%) & perivasculitis (3.5%) using SD-OCT and EDI-OCT both pre & post treatment was done. The mean age at presentation was 36.87 years (range 19- 65) with a total of 31 females and 26 males. All patients were evaluated by SD-OCT & EDI-OCT on presentation, at 1 month and 3 month from presentation using Heidelberg Spectralis OCT. Fundus fluorescein angiography & B scan was done in selected patients to correlate with findings of OCT
Results: Analysis revealed presence of serous retinal detachment (28%), Epiretinal membrane formation (15.8%), IS-OS junction disruption (17.5%), optic nerve edema (24.6%), cystoid macular edema (26.3%). 6 patients were lost to follow up.
Conclusion: OCT techniques may prove to be an ancillary tool for the evaluation & monitoring of chorioretinal pathologies
