80 eyes of 40 patients were included in this study. Among 40 patients 17 were males and 23 were females. The age of patients ranged from 10-60 years. 54 were myopic eyes and 26 were hypermetropic eyes. The mean central corneal thickness (CCT) in myopes was 525.70 (SD – 29.29) and hypermetropes was 524.70 (SD – 47.88). The mean spherical equivalent (SE) in myopes was 1.0 (SD – 2.17) and hypermetropes was 1.03 (SD – 0.77). Mean keratometry (KM) in myopes and hypermetropes was 43.92 (SD – 1.34) and 43.55 (SD – 1.09) respectively. Central corneal thickness was not correlated with mean spherical equivalent and mean keratometry in both myopes and hypermetropes. Statistically they were not significant.
