A retrospective study use of 532nm double frequency Nd YAG laser on 1348 patients in a tertiary care centre for various adnexal pathologies. It was used for wide extent of diseases from small lid abcess , to do incision and drainage of hordeolum externum, filiform wart, molluscum, small skin tags, colloid milium etc. These were photocoagulated, cut, removed after applying slit lamp 532nm Nd YAG laser under local or surface anaesthesia ( lignocaine ). The cases were followed up for a period of 6 months. Any recurrence or patients who required repeat laser were excluded from the study. Patients acceptance were good as it can be done as bloodless and painless procedure. To be precise it is a simple alternative therapy in adnexal lesions for cosmetic purpose.
