460 eyes of 230 myopic cases with myopia more than 4 dioptres were included in this study.all these cases were randomly selected among the cases attending OPD for refraction. Cases below 40 years without any media opacity were included in this study. Cases were screened for peripheral retinal lesions with indirect ophthalmoscopy under full dilatation. Laser photocoagulation was done in treatable retinal lesions .Follow up was done yearly and any fresh lesion is noted and treated if recommended.Moderate myopia cases were having more peripheral retinal lesions than high myopia cases.
