A 30 year old male presented with blurring of vision with floaters in both eyes since 1 month. He also gives history of generalised weakness and night sweats during the same period.BCVA was 6/36 in both eyes.Dilated fundoscopy revealed multiple 1mm hemorrhages with white centres scattered throughout the retina of both eyes, suggestive of roth’s spots. The full blood count and PBS were abnormal and bone marrow biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of CML.
The patient was given vincristine and daunorubicin and his symptoms resolved with improvement in visual acuity to 6/9 within a period of 6 months.
