A case of transient myopia following the use of acetazolamide is reported. High myopia was detected on the second day after administration of acetazolamide 500mg and lasted for three days after stopping the drug. Sensitivity reaction to acetazolamide, a sulpha derivative is reported as the mechanism of myopia in few of the cases reported.
