Aims: to assess success rate of revision lacrimal surgeries that can be performed in children
Methods:this is retrospective study. Data extracted from electronic medical record system.patients under 18 years of age having undergone lacrimal surgery were includedin the study. The outcomes in terms of relief of symptoms of watering, discharge and swelling exported to excel sheets, crosstabulated and analysed using spss22.
Results: 406 subjects with a mean age of 2.4±1.2yrs.the success rates were found to be significant for relief of watering, discharge and swelling in all surgeries namely probing, probing and intubation, canalicular intubation,fistulectomy, etc
Conclusions: an array of surgeries can be considered according to preferred age groups and presenting symptoms with comparable success rates
