Purpose: To describe the outcomes of tenons patch graft (TPG) in the management of corneal perforation < 2 mm size. Methods: 6 cases of corneal perforation < 2mm were managed with TPG. The technique included, freshening of the edges of perforation; measuring the size of defect; creating a 360 degree stromal pocket all around the perforation margin; harvesting a tenons graft 1 mm oversized compared to the defect size from superior quadrant followed by tucking the graft into the stromal pocket and suturing the graft using 4-5 10-0 MFN interrupted sutures. Result: The study included 6 cases of corneal perforation. The age ranged between 10-60 years. Complete healing was noted at 6-8 weeks in all the cases. Conclusion: Tenons patch graft is an effective technique for the management of corneal perforation. The advantages of tenons graft include it is autologous (cf. patch graft), cost effective (cf. cyanoacrylate glue), easily available (cf. amniotic membrane/ donor cornea).
