Chondrosarcoma is a malignant cartilage tumour that originates from the enchondral bones. It makes up 0.15% of all intracranial tumours and 6% of skull base neoplasms. Here we report a case of a 36 year old female who presented to us with complaints of pain in the left eye and drooping of left upper eyelid since 7 months. On further ophthalmic evaluation, she was found to have anisocoria, deficits in abduction, adduction, supra and infraduction with normal posterior segment examination and color vision. MRI Brain showed a well defined mass in the left para sellar region in lesser wing and adjacent body of sphenoid, showing no diffusion restriction, suggestive of chondrosarcoma of left anterior clinoid and adjacent body. We report a rare case of chondrosarcoma of the skull base presenting with multiple cranial nerve palsy.
