A total of 6583 cataract patients who underwent cataract surgery during the month of december 2017 and january 2018 were studied.Out of these incidence of zonular dialysis diagnosed either pre or intra operatively of more than 4 clock hours was 16.Out of 16, 4 had mature cataract and rest were nuclear cataract .These were well managed by CAPSULAR TENSION RING and PCIOL implantation in the same sitting.Best corrected visual acuity of 6/9 was acheived in 8 eyes at postoperative day 7 and 30.A visual acuity of 6/12 was acheived in 6 eyes at postoperative day 7 and 30 and 2 had visual acuity of 6/60 due to preexisting corneal opacity.study implies the importance of CTR in cases of zonular dialysis which used to be difficult tasks for surgeons and patients were left aphakic and had to face aphakic related complications.CTR ring is a boon in community area
