PURPOSE-To compare anterior chamber parameters on eyes with cataract using immersion technique & LS900(lenstar).
METHODS-In this prospective study on eyes with cataract,The following parametrs were compared:-Lens Thickness(LT),Axial Length(AXL),Anterior chamber Depth(ACD) and IOL Power calculated by barett & SRK-T formulae.
RESULTS-The mean LT,ACD,AXL,IOL Power using immersion were3.87±1.63,3.39±1.65,22.63±1.41,20.45±2.41,21.27±6.93 & the same value with lenstar were 3.53±1.71,3.12±1.55,22.51±1.51,20.55±2.78,20.45±2.52.There was no significant difference b/w 2 methods of IOL calculation.(P>0.5)
CONCLUSION-The various biometry parameters were comparable b/w immersion technique & lenstar(LS 900).
