A 50-year-old male, driver by profession presented to us with the chief complaint of sudden painless diminution of vision of left eye associated with redness & chemosis after he suffered from blunt trauma to his left eye 20 days back. The BCVA of the left eye was 20/1000 and for the right eye, it was 20/40. The Intraocular pressure for the right eye and left eye were 14.6 and 25.00 mm of Hg respectively. Near vision for right eye was N12 and it was lesser than N36 in the left eye. The patient had no history of diabetes mellitus, hypertension ,previous ocular surgery or any other chronic illness.Slit lamp biomicroscopy showed jet black pupil with 360 degree zonular dialysis with the absence of lens in the left eye. On Indirect Ophthalmoscopy , a circular disc-shaped translucent structure could be visualized floating in the vitreous with plenty of exudates. The lens cavity was found empty and a circular lens shadow could be appreciated in the posterior chamber on USB B scan.
