Aim: The aim of the study was to assess the changes in the quality of life in patients with computer vision syndrome.
Methods: Total 120 patients participate in this study. Detailed history was noted and detailed examination of eyes was done. They were requested to fill the questionnaire provided to them on every visit. A set of preventive measures was explained to them and treatment for dry eye was given in the form of lubricating drops or gel. The changes in the treatment Duration at three visits were measured for various signs and symptoms of CVS.
Results: After assessing the quality of life on the Basis of QOL Score it was found that the average QOL score was reduced from 3.24±1.46 at first follow up to 2.53±1.07 at last follow up. This shows a highly significant improvement in the quality of life.
Conclusion: The study showed an overall improvement with respect to the reduction in CVS problems and quality of life among the 120 cases after the completion of treatment procedure.
