Aim: To evaluate retinal and choroidal morphological changes after treatment with PDT in PCV

Methods: Retrospective multimodal imaging analysis of 8 eyes of PCV undergoing PDT + 3 loading doses of ranibizumab. Changes in BCVA, subfoveal choroidal thickness (SFCT), choroidal vascularity index (CVI), choroidal area (CA), intraretinal fluid (IRF), subretinal fluid (SRF), along with dimensions of PED (height, base, area) and shallow irregular PED (Double layer sign;DLS) were analyzed at baseline & at 6 months

Result: Compared with baseline, significant reduction was seen in SFCT, CT at pachyvessel, PED area and the height of PED, SRF and DLS respectively. 66.33% and 62.5% of eyes had complete resolution of IRF & SRF respectively. Improvement was noted in BCVA, CVI, and width of DLS and PED, although not significantly

Conclusion: PDT is associated with an improvement in retinal and choroidal morphology in eyes with PCV along with maintaining stable visual acuity and choroidal vascularity
