This instruction course will highlight the all important disorders of the Macula which can be effectively man-aged and discuss their management. The course will open with an ‘Insight into Macular Imaging’ techniquesincluding FFA, OCT, OCT-A, FAF imaging, Multifocal ERG, Microperimetry and Adaptive Optics. The coursewill then highlight the all important real-life management for centre-involving DME followed by the emergingrole of choroidal imaging in conditions like pachychoroid spectrum, CSCR etc. Vitreo-Macular Adhesions,(VMA), their surgical management versus use of Ocriplasmin will be introduced next.. Macular Choroiditis cancause sudden often irreversible vision loss and entities like serpiginous choroiditis are commonly seen and willbe discussed next by an authority on this topic. Lastly the emerging role of 3D visualization for macular surgerywill be explained with video- displays.
