AIMS & OBJECTIVES – This prospective observational study was undertaken to determine inter observer and intra observer variation in gonioscopic findings of irido trabecular contact (ITC). METHOD – Both eyes of 50 participants were examined by indirect gonioscopy on three separate visits by 3 observers, observers A, B and C. Every observer noted the gonioscopic finding about irido trabecular contact on the basis of classification proposed by ISGEO. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS software and Kappa score to determine the inter observer agreement (reproducibility) & intra observer agreement (repeatability). RESULT- Inter observer agreements between three observers were substantial to near perfect (kappa value of 0.693 , 0.723 , 0.859 with 95 % CI ) & Intra observer agreements during the three visits were substantial to near perfect for gonioscopy (0.677 , 0.738 , 0.801 with 95 % CI ) .
