PURPOSE: To report 3 cases of intermittent exotropia and outcomes of surgery (uniocular) in young adult. METHODS: Single centre case series conducted at AIIMS Jodhpur, Rajasthan from March 2018 to April 2018. Three patients were included in the study who fulfilled the study criteria. Preoperative and post-operative orthoptic evaluation was done. Medial rectus resection with lateral rectus recession surgery was done in affected (or non-dominant) eye. RESULTS: All three patients were orthophoric/orthotropic for distance and near in post-operative visits. CONCLUSIONS: Proper preoperative evaluation with uniocular strabismus surgery is an effective treatment for intermittent exotropia.
