Case1: 20/365 days old male child born to parents of second degree consanguinity was brought to our hospital with leukocoria in the Right eye since birth. Mother had first trimester abortion previously. She was treated for TORCH infection before this conception. Right eye examination showed shallow anterior chamber and leukocoria with cataractus and vascular lens. Left eye was normal. B Scan was normal in both eyes. Diagnosis of Anterior PHPV was made in the Right eye.
Case2: 7 year old girl born to parents of non consanguinity presented with leukocoria in Left eye noticed for the past two years. Right was normal with 6/6 visual acuity and normal fundus. Left eye showed leukocoria with posterior cortical cataract and visual acuity of 6/12 NIPNIG. Fundus examination showed remnants of fetal vasculature extending between the optic disc and lens. Rest were normal. Diagnosis of posterior PHPV was made.
