FP111 : Experience with YAG Laser Iridotomy for 15 years.

I had relieved many patients with angle closure glaucoma with Yag Laser Iridotomy. Careful case selection will end with good results. Avoid acute and oedematous iris. Usually 2 holes are produced in case one get closed in future. It is a useful procedure to avoid surgery. I met with few complications also like bleeding from iris, hitting the endothelium, non perforation of iris and so on. I had the chance to puncture few iris bombe with yag laser with sudden lowering of IOP. Very useful and inexpensive procedure in Angle Closure glaucoma and Narrow angled patients as prophylactic measure.
