After detailed work up of 46 suspected cases of dermoid cyst of globe, orbit and periocular area were excised.HPE confirm the diagnosis.Results-Out of 46 patients 50% lies in age group 11-20 years. Most common presentation was superficial orbital/Periorbital dermoid (56.52%),followed by deep orbital dermoid (17.39%) and limbal dermoid. Only 3 cases of primary conjunctival dermoid cyst were reported, out of which 2 associated with Goldenhar syndrome. In 34.78 % cases cyst lies in superotemporal orbit. Recurrence was observed in 10.87% Conclusion-Dermoid cysts are commonest orbital and Periorbital mass in childhood with different clinical presentations. Intracranial extensions must be ruled out and complete excision of mass should be done without rupture.
