Purpose: To study the unusual presentation of retinoblastoma. Methods: 4 year male child presented with whitish spot in left eye was treated outside for granulomatous uveitis.Visual acuity in affected eye was 6/24 with hazy cornea, sheet of endothelial keratic precipitates,1/3rd chamber shifting hypopyon, iris neovascularisation. Fundus- Disc seen hazily rest hazy view.Other causes of uveitis like juvenile rheumatoid arthritis,Koch’s,Lymphoma,Leukemia were ruled out.Normal USG Bscan,CT orbit with no calcification,no mass lesion.In view of normal investigations and no response to conventional treatment of uveitis surgical intervention with anterior chamber tap done. Results: Anterior chamber tap on cytopathology slides on Giemsa staining showed round cells with enlarged hyperchromatic nuclei with scant cytoplasm and diagnosed as Retinoblastoma which was diffuse infiltrating variety masqueraded as anterior uveitis.
