A 31 yrs male with sudden dimness of vision both eyes for 2 weeks with sign and symptoms suggestive of hepatitis with visual acuity 6/18(OD) and 6/24(OS), no improvement on pinhole. Fundoscopy revealed bilateral subhyaloid hemorrhage involving fovea. On examination, patient was found to be anemic and was referred to the dept. of medicine where he was diagnosed as acute viral hepatitis with aplastic anemia and treatment for the same was initiated there. On regular followup, vision gradually improved with consequent resolution of retinal hemorrhage. Here I am presenting a case report on ocular manifestation of aplastic anemia with acute viral hepatitis.
